Producing a short video without a crew

The storyboard is not a formality. Skipping it is the single most expensive habit in this module.

Yeşilçam Studios generates video from text or from an image, synthesises voiceover and dialogue, plans scene by scene through a storyboard, offers style presets drawn from classic and modern film, and gives you a timeline editor for cuts and sequencing before exporting in several resolutions.

Storyboard first, always

Video generation is the most expensive operation on the platform. A regenerated shot costs the same as the first one, so every change you make after generating is paid for twice.

The storyboard is where a change is free. Write the shot list, read it back, cut the two shots that repeat each other, and only then generate. Teams that skip this step do not save time; they spend it regenerating.

Keeping a character the same person

The most common disappointment is a character whose face drifts between shots. Two things reduce it substantially.

Describe the character once, in detail, and reuse that exact description in every prompt rather than paraphrasing. Paraphrase is what causes drift.

And prefer image-to-video over text-to-video when a character has to recur: generate one still you are happy with, then drive the shots from it. The still is your anchor.

The timeline is where it becomes a film

Generated shots arrive slightly too long, almost always. Trimming the first and last half second off each one is the single edit that most improves the result, because the generated motion is least convincing at the boundaries.

Voiceover should be generated after the cut, not before. If you write the audio first, you end up stretching the visual to fit it, and the stretched shot is the one that looks synthetic.

Questions people actually ask

Why is my video so expensive to make?

Almost always regeneration. Each regenerated shot costs like the first, so changes made after generating are paid twice. Settle the shot list in the storyboard, where changes are free.

How do I stop the character changing between shots?

Write one detailed character description and paste the identical text into every prompt — paraphrasing is what causes drift. For recurring characters, generate one still you like and drive the shots from that image.

What edit improves the result most?

Trimming half a second from the start and end of each generated shot. Generated motion is least convincing at the boundaries, and the timeline editor makes this a two-minute pass.
