When a team runs multiple projects simultaneously — client work, internal products, experiments, support — keeping them separated is critical. Files bleed across projects. The wrong people see the wrong things. Tasks from one project clutter the boards of another. Lodos Workspace Manager solves this with a clean project-per-workspace model.
How Workspaces Work
Each workspace in Lodos is a fully isolated environment. Create a workspace for a client project, an internal product, or a team function — each gets its own:
- Task management board
- Notebook and meeting notes
- Lodrive file storage
- Social Hive channels
- API collections and documentation
- Calendar and scheduled events
Nothing crosses between workspaces unless explicitly shared.
Permission Control
Invite collaborators to specific workspaces with role-based access. A client can be added as a viewer on their project workspace without seeing any other workspace. A contractor can be added to one workspace for a specific engagement and removed when it ends. Permission management is per-workspace, not per-tool.
Workspace Lifecycle
- Create — name the workspace, set a description, invite team members
- Active — the workspace is live with full tool access for all collaborators
- Archive — mark a completed project as archived; it's preserved but no longer clutters the active view
- Transfer — change workspace ownership for team transitions
Scaling With Your Team
The free plan includes 1 workspace. Basic and Professional plans include unlimited workspaces — meaning you can maintain separate environments for every client, every product, and every team function without hitting a ceiling. For agencies and consultancies running 10+ concurrent client projects, this unlimited model represents significant value over per-project pricing alternatives.
